Celebrating the small wins when launching an Etsy shop with Christa Lebrun

When you launch an Etsy shop or any new business for that matter, it can bring a lot of emotions. Excitement, fear, and even indigestion are all normal in my experience! This week I interviewed Christa Lebrun, to give you an inside look at what it was like for her to transition her business from making cute wooden farmhouse signs, to selling SVG designs after taking my course!
Christa is a teacher, wife, and mom of two little girls. With a busy life working full-time and spending time with her family, it was hard to get in time for herself. She knew she wanted a creative outlet to balance the everyday hustle and bustle. She began by purchasing a Cricut and started designing and making farmhouse signs. This began as a fun hobby, then quickly turned into a side business! She enjoyed doing this but the hours it took to make one sign was overwhelming.
She knew she enjoyed design, so she started to research ways to sell items digitally that would result in passive income. Once she took The Designer’s Course to SVG Files, she quickly realized how much she loved the design process. Christa decided that creating cut files for crafters like herself would be a great way to earn some income on the side, without the added stress of creating a tangible product.
Her shop has shown great success in a short amount of time! Being able to add more products to her shop on her time, has given her the flexibility she needs! She is looking forward to what the future holds for her Etsy shop and is excited to share her experiences with you in this podcast episode!
