What happens when your business ties you down and ends up being more than you can handle?

Do you just throw in the towel?

I hope not!

You instead jump into action mode, get really scrappy and find a way to turn it into passive income.

And guess what?

You can do this with a business selling handmade items!!

Don’t believe me? Don’t take my word for it, instead hear it from someone who has not only turned a handmade business passive but who has also made six figures in revenue in just two years!

Today I speak with an incredibly talented wedding photographer (and my sister-in-law), Megan Butcher.

Megan saw a need in the wedding industry for styling mats. One thing led to another and now she is the co-owner of Olive and Oak Mats on Etsy.

But here’s where it gets interesting..

Instead of adding to her to-do list, she partnered with her crafty mom to take over the production side while she honed in on building strategic marketing relationships with online influencers who create the content that wows new buyers in her niche daily!

Whaaaaaaat???!  And to add more amazement, Megan’s workload is only twenty minutes per day… that’s right 2-0 minutes!

If you want to learn how to automate your handmade business and/or marketing, you’re gonna want to grab a notebook, a pen and listen in to this episode to find out how Megan was able to create a flexible schedule while growing her Etsy business, outsourcing to talented acquaintances (her mom♥️) to create her product and partnering with affiliate influencers to grow sales!

What You’ll Learn in This Episode:

  • Ideas on how to outsource a handmade business
  • What’s possible for creating a flexible income on Etsy
  • How Megan leverages Instagram to promote sales
  • How affiliate marketing and a nifty little tool on the gram took her business to six figures in two years!

Hi! You talked about using Shopify to connect Instagram and Etsy, can you elaborate on that? Do you have a link or more information on where I can sign up? Thanks!!!
