5 Tricks to Boost Sales on Etsy When You're in a Slump
Wouldn’t it be great if online business sales stayed consistent all year round? You’d never have to worry about things slumping a little and affecting your income. You could literally take weeks or even months off and not have to be bothered about coming back to slower sales. That would be amazing!
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way.
Sales will ebb and flow throughout the year. Sometimes your sales will be through the roof, and other times you’ll find yourself wondering if this is a sustainable livelihood. This decline in purchases will happen more often if you take a vacation from your business and aren’t active in your shop for a little while. Everyone takes breaks, so don’t feel like you have to work your tail off continually to make a decent living.
Even my Etsy shop goes into a bit of a slump from time to time. It’s nice because, for the most part, sales of my digital products keep relatively consistent, but every so often, things will start to lag a bit. I do take a vacation about twice a year, and when I come back to work, things are somewhat slow for a small amount of time.
But don’t worry! I’ve figured out a foolproof way to get things back on track for my business when things are slow, and if it works for me, I KNOW it will work for you as well. With this process, it can take a few weeks for my sales to be back to where they should be. All excellent processes take time, and this is a worthy one, I assure you!
